| Instructions |
| Preheat the oven to 350 F. |
| If using a bowl to mix, break up the pecans into smaller pieces before mixing with other ingredients. |
| If using a food processor, combine the pecans, oats, flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and water. The mixture should be crumbly. |
| In another bowl, toss the chopped apples with the lemon juice. |
| Add the apples to baking dish so they are evenly distributed. |
| Sprinkle with the crumble mixture and lightly press down. |
| Bake for 30 minutes or until the apples are soft and the crumble is golden brown. |
| Let sit for 10 minutes before serving. |

| Use a glass baking dish if you can. If you don't have one, then line your baking dish with parchment paper. Recommended size is 8" x 8" or equivalent. Note: Dry ingredients can be mixed ahead of time and placed in the fridge. Apple cider vinegar can be used instead of lemon juice. Brown sugar can be replaced with 1/2 cup dates (88 g).
