Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 F.
Pour warm water in bowl or small jar. Add sugar and active dry yeast. Stir quickly to combine and let sit for 5 minutes uncovered or until yeast blooms.
Start preparing toppings and pizza sauce while waiting.
Add salt and whole wheat flour to the yeast mixture. Keep mixing until it thickens and then use your hands to knead it into a ball. Alternatively, if you have a mixer with a dough hook, that works well.
Spread dough ball out onto flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out to desired shape.
Keep flipping dough over each time you roll it out. Add extra flour, if needed, so it doesn't stick. Using 2 pieces of parchment paper and having the dough between them works well.
Add pizza sauce onto formed dough.
Add toppings and cook for 17 minutes.
Cut into slices and enjoy!

Note: Any whole wheat flour will work.
