| Instructions |
| Preheat oven to 400 F. |
| Pour warm water in bowl or small jar. Add sugar and active dry yeast. Stir quickly to combine and let sit for 5 minutes uncovered or until yeast blooms. |
| Start preparing toppings and pizza sauce while waiting. |
| Add salt and whole wheat flour to the yeast mixture. Keep mixing until it thickens and then use your hands to knead it into a ball. Alternatively, if you have a mixer with a dough hook, that works well. |
| Spread dough ball out onto flat surface and use a rolling pin to roll it out to desired shape. |
| Keep flipping dough over each time you roll it out. Add extra flour, if needed, so it doesn't stick. Using 2 pieces of parchment paper and having the dough between them works well. |
| Add pizza sauce onto formed dough.

| Add toppings and cook for 17 minutes.
