| Instructions |
| Pour warm water in bowl. Add sugar and active dry yeast. Stir quickly to combine and let sit for 5 minutes uncovered or until yeast blooms. |
| Add salt and whole wheat flour. Keep mixing until it thickens and then use your hands to knead it into a ball. |
| Cut dough ball into equal portions and then roll each ball into the shape of a bun or breadstick. |
| Place in a covered container for a couple of hours before baking to allow them to rise. I just put them in the unheated oven and let them rise there. |
| Cook for 15 minutes at 400 F and remove from oven. |
| Allow to cool slightly before enjoying. |
